Shree Annapurna Aadurvut Vidhyalaya, located in Baidam, Pokhara, was a critical addition to the Mission Zero Dropout network in 2025.
Why the Intervention
The school was on the verge of closure due to a severe lack of funds and teaching staff. Without support, its students would have had no access to local schooling.
What the Partnership Brings
Bajrayogini Foundation stepped in to provide immediate teacher support, hiring Saraswoti Panta to ensure the school could remain operational. The focus is now on stabilizing the academic calendar and bringing students up to grade-level proficiency.
This intervention prevented the displacement of 25+ students and marks the first new center under the 2025 quality-over-quantity strategy, expanding the Mission Zero Dropout network to six active centers across Nepal.
