On December 10, 2024, the Mission Zero Dropout initiative furthered its commitment to educational enhancement by formalizing a partnership with Shree Baundeshwor Secondary School, located in Tokha, Kathmandu.
About the Center
This collaboration was established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tara Foundation Malaysia, Bajrayogini Foundation Nepal, and Bishnu Saraswati Foundation.
What the Partnership Brings
The after-school tuition program is tailored for primary-level students from grades 1 to 5, with 120+ students enrolled. Shree Baundeshwor Secondary School serves children from underserved communities, many of whom come from low-income families where parents are engaged in labor-intensive occupations.
Recognizing that these students often face challenging educational environments at home, the program was designed to provide additional academic support in core subjects, aiming to strengthen students’ foundational knowledge, enhance their academic performance, and foster a positive attitude towards learning.
