New Center Enrolled — Naya Nepal Samaj Kendra

Second Mission Zero Dropout center signed in Bhaktapur, bringing after-school academic support to 50+ children at a dedicated orphanage.

On September 29, 2024, the second Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Mission Zero Dropout initiative was signed between Tara Foundation Malaysia, Bajrayogini Foundation Nepal, Bishnu Saraswati Foundation, and Naya Nepal Samaj Kendra.

About the Center

Located in Bhaktapur, Naya Nepal Samaj Kendra is a dedicated orphanage providing shelter, food, and care to over 50 children. Recognizing the immense potential and need within this community, the collaboration aimed to enhance the educational opportunities available to these children.

What the Partnership Brings

Through this partnership, an After-School Tuition Program was established at the center, designed to provide academic support in core subjects. The program addresses the academic challenges faced by the children and offers a structured learning environment to complement their schooling. By prioritizing education, the initiative helps create a nurturing space where children can thrive academically and prepare for a brighter future.
